Body Found Near Canton, Dallas Man Jailed

A body was discovered in a shallow grave southwest of Canton over the weekend and a Dallas man has been arrested. Forty-five-year-old Casey Lynn Spriggs of Dallas, was arrested for murder. He allegedly shot and killed Ladarron Perkins in Dallas and transported his body to Van Zandt County to bury him in a shallow grave.  He’s being held in the Van Zandt County jail.
