9862244_G

Good news from the City of Paris. The Boil Water Notice has been rescinded. Here is the official announcement from the City of Paris.
BOIL WATER RESCIND NOTICE

On 03/12/2016, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the City of Paris Water Treatment Plant, PWS ID No. 1390002, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform our customers that due to an exceedance in turbidity of 5.0 nephelometric turbidity units (NTUs) for potable water prior to entering the distribution system, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption.

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of 03/14/2016.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Danny Rowell, Water Treatment Superintendent or water treatment operations at (903) 784-2464.

If a customer wishes to contact the TCEQ,they may call 512-239-4691.
