A hearing to consider lowering the bond of a Quinlan man accused of murdering University Park Fire Captain Robert Poynter has been rescheduled for September 27. Meanwhile, the newly appointed attorney for Michael Garza has filed a motion to restrict media coverage of the case. Poynter’s wife, 29 year old Chacey Poynter is charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case.
