Bond Set for Sulphur Springs Kidnapping Suspect

Bond has been set at $500,000 for a Sulphur Springs man on a charge of 1^st degree felony aggravated kidnapping.  42 year old Sammy James Sarkasian allegedly went to the home of a woman he had broken up with last week, beat her male friend and then beat her and attempted to take her car and she tried to get the keys away from him, but he forced her into the car, drove away and continued beating her.  Sarkasian was later arrested and denied assaulting or kidnapping the woman. The woman was treated for cuts and abrasions.
