Brookston Man Sentenced to 40 Years For Child Molestation

A Lamar County man indicted several months ago for continuous sexual abuse of a child has pleaded guilty. 34 year old Chevy Lambert of Brookston was sentenced to 40 years in prison. The victim was under the age of 14 when the assaults occurred.  The case was prosecuted by  First Assistant District Attorney Jill Drake.
