Brownsboro Man Sentenced

An East Texas man has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term after pleading guilty to shooting at Henderson County deputies in 2015. 31 year old Jamie Lawrence Meador of Brownsboro was sentenced by District Judge Dan Moore to 75 years in prison for aggravated assault of a peace officer. He also received four other 20 year sentences for three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of evading arrest with a motor vehicle. Meador was seriously injured during the shootout, but no officers were hurt.
