Burn Ban For Lamar County

Lamar County Judge Brandon Bell issued a burn ban effective immediately. Unless renewed by the Commissioners Court, the ban is in effect through Monday, August 26.  A ban violation is a Class C Misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $500. Any commissioned peace officer may enforce the order.
