Burn Ban Violation Causes Fire Near Lindale

Officials blame a 15-20 acre fire Tuesday near Lindale for violating an outdoor burn ban. Fire officials say the blaze started as a controlled burn and got out of hand, crossing at least two properties. Nobody was injured. The property owner where the fire started has been issued a Class C citation for violating the burn ban.
