Busy Weekend For Paris PD

Paris police arrested 42 year old  Michael Dudley on an outstanding felony criminal mischief warrant.22 year old  Brianna Holt was also arrested, after she claimed ownership of a  small amount methamphetamine.

Paris police responded to George Wright Homes and arrested 26 year old  Charles Spradlin.  He was wanted on an outstanding parole warrant.

Paris police stopped a vehicle in the 1700 block of Bonham for a traffic violation and learned that 33 year old Brandon Whisenhunt had an outstanding warrant for delivery of a controlled substance as well as other misdemeanor warrants. Whisenhunt was taken into custody.

Paris police were dispatched to the 3200 block of NE Loop 286 in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with 46 year old  Bryan WIlliams  who was found to have an outstanding warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was transported to the Lamar County jail.

Paris police  are investigating a reported burglary that occurred in the 100 block of NE 15th .   Officers were told that a storage bulding had been broken into and numerous construction tools valued at about $1000  had been stolen. Officers are also investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the 200 block of SE 25th Street.

Parispolice responded to a complaint of a vehicle being stolen in the 1300 block of Grahamand were told that a possible known suspect had taken the vehicle without permission. The vehicle was later located in the 1800 block of NE Loop 286 and was returned to the owner.

Paris police were called to a disturbance in the 500 block of Brown Ave and were told by a woman that another person had assaulted  her and threatened her with a firearm. The incident is under investigation.
