Melvin Anthony Smith, of Pittsburg, has pleaded guilty in federal court in Texarkana to drug trafficking charges. He and four others were accused of distributing more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in East Texas. Smith has not been sentenced. Charges are pending against Stinson Lesley, Wesley Haley, Norman Spruiell, and Laura Pace.
