Campbell’s and PJC Receive Jobs Grant

Campbell Soup Company has partnered with Paris Junior College to provide job training using a $500,000 Skills Development Fund grant from the Texas Workforce Commission. This grant will be used to provide customized training for nearly 500 new and current workers for industry-related topics with focused instruction on ammonia refrigeration, boiler equipment, case packing and rotary pressure sterilizer training. Upon completion of training, the workers will receive an average wage of more than $22 an hour. Students from throughout NE Texas are eligible to apply for the training.
