Candidate For Texas Governor Postpones Events

On Twitter Sunday, Beto O’Rourke, Texas’ Democratic candidate for governor, stated that he would “postpone events” after being hospitalized with a bacterial infection. O’Rourke said, “While my symptoms have improved, I will rest at home in El Paso following the doctors’ recommendations.” Campaign communications director Chris Evans said that the hospital had discharged O’Rourke.
