Car Kills Child In Texarkana

Texarkana Police are investigating after a car struck and killed a young child Thursday afternoon. According to Texarkana Police, a child just under two years old was unsupervised in an apartment complex’s parking lot when a driver, unable to see the toddler, hit the child. The driver immediately contacted police and stayed at the scene. They are not expecting any charges at this time. Police are currently investigating how the child got out of their house.
