On Friday, May 28, Carry The Load will have a rally and walk through Mount Pleasant as part of its 15,500-mile national relay to honor and remember our fallen military and first responders. Since 2011, Carry The Load’s mission to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day has grown into a national movement, this year covering all 50 states, to honor and remember those who laid their lives down for our freedom.
