Cass County Election PRopositions

Voters in Atlanta, Bloomberg, Linden-Kildare, McLeod and Queen City school districts overwhelmingly rejected a proposition to join the Texarkana College taxing district by a vote of 7,251-1,965. The annexation would have authorized a 11.07-cent property tax rate to support the community college.

Voters in Hughes Springs authorized the city to create a municipal development district. The district would be supported by a half-cent sales tax.
