Cass County Man Jailed In Bowie County For Murder

An Atlanta man is in Bi-State Detention Center on one count of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Allegedly, 51-year-old Thomas Wayne Lawson, Sr., fatally shot one man and seriously injured another near a travel trailer about ten miles southwest of Texarkana and about a dozen miles north of Queen City. The dead man was 63-year-old Roger Franklin Cowley of Texarkana.
