Fire Destroys Broken Bow’s LaQuinta Inn

Shortly after midnight Wednesday, The LaQuinta Inn in Broken Bow was destroyed by fire. They had scheduled it to open in April. Crews from Eagletown, Hochatown, Holly Creek, and Idabel helped Broken Bow’s fire department. The departments worked through Thursday to bring the blaze under control.

Car Hits Wolfe City Student

They hospitalized a Wolfe City middle school student after a car hit him while riding his bike. Wolfe City ISD said paramedics airlifted the student to a Dallas hospital. The district provided counselors for students, staff members, and their families.
