The Texas Department of State Health Services Coronavirus Dashboard shows the number of active cases of COVID in Lamar County has dropped to 150. The total number of fatalities from the virus remains at 162. In its report Monday, the Paris Lamar County Health District reported 435 active cases.

The Lamar County Health Department is offering free vaccinations today to everyone at Paris High School between 10am and 1pm. All three shots are available, Pfizer for those 12 and over and Moderna and Johnson and Johnson  for those 18 and older.
