According to the local emergency Joint Operations Center, the number of deaths because of COVID-19 in Cass County rose by five from Thursday to Monday for a total of 31. Red River County’s cumulative case count increased from 208 to 209, and Morris County’s from 240 to 246.

The Paris-Lamar County Health District reported three new deaths associated with COVID-19. The latest patients to die were a 66-year-old man and two women, 72 and 79 years old.
