Cavaliers & Golden State Again? Hughes Springs Takes On Grandview!

It has become a tradition. For an unprecedented fourth straight season, the NBA features the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. They face each other in the NBA Finals. You would think that teams meeting four consecutive times in the Finals would only happen once every 185 years. What Cleveland and Golden State have done has never happened in the NBA, but never in MLB, NFL, or NHL history either. It starts Thursday (May 31) at 8:00 pm on ABC and ESPN Radio with Game 1 at the Warriors.

Odor’s three-run double in the ninth sent the Rangers past the Mariners 9-5 Tuesday night in Seattle. Nelson Cruz hit a line drive homer and that was his ninth of the season for Seattle.

The Yankees did in the Stros last night 6-5. Houston remains a game ahead of Seattle in the AL West Standings. Los Angeles, Oakland, and Texas round out the AL West.

Zack Martin is sitting out the second week of the Cowboy’s organized team activities. VP Stephen Jones said they are working with Martin’s agent, Tom Condon, about an extension for the Pro Bowl guard, but it has not come together yet.

The UIL Softball State Tournament begins today. It takes place at two fields.
