The CDC has identified the source of a rare bacteria that sickened a little girl in North Texas and people in three other states. A four-year-old girl in Denison was diagnosed with a case of melioidosis (mill-ee-uh-doh-sis) this summer, which puzzled doctors since you can not find the tropical bacteria that causes the disease in the United States. However, the CDC identified the bacteria inside aromatherapy spray India manufactured and sold in more than 50 Walmart stores earlier this year. As a result, the company has pulled the item from its shelves. In addition, the consumer product safety commission has issued a recall for several varieties of the product from Better Homes and Gardens.
