Certified Tax Roll Due This Week

The Lamar County Appraisal District should release its Certified Property Tax Roll by the end of the week. Some expect property values to rise by possibly $600 million. Taxing entities will use the figures to finalize their 2022-23 budgets and tax rates. So far, there have been 1,721 protests filed over the tax appraisal notices.
