Change of Venue Sought For Inmate Accused In Guard’s Murder

The chief defense attorney for a Telford State Prison Unit inmate charged with murdering a correctional officer is seeking a change of venue because of alleged pre-trial publicity. Billy Joel Tracy is accused of beating 47 year old Timothy Davison to death at the New Boston prison. Tracy is represented by attorney Mac Cobb of Mt. Pleasant.
