Charges Dropped Against Former ET Police Officer

KTLV is reporting that an aggravated perjury charge against a former Mt. Pleasant police officer who was accused of falsely testifying in a 2009 drug case has been dismissed. Detective Simon Porter later left the department. In June, a judge approved a motion to dismiss the case on grounds of insufficient evidence.
