Charges Enhanced For Accused Shoplifter

A traffic stop by Sulphur Springs Police resulted in the arrest of a local woman for allegedly stealing about $30 in merchandise. Because of prior convictions, however, charges against 31-year-old Mykeya Starlet Payne were enhanced to a state jail felony. She was also charged with five outstanding traffic warrants.
