Cherokee County Man Sentenced For Continuous Sexual Abuse

An East Texas man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. Reportedly, 69-year-old Carl Phillips, of Jacksonville, was sentenced to 10 and 20 years on two probation revocation cases and must serve the entire 50 years behind bars without the possibility of parole.
