Child Poked with Syringe in Choctaw County Investigation Continues

Choctaw County deputies and the Oklahoma  Department of Human Services are searching for a woman who allegedly gave an elementary school student a syringe that ended up in the boy’s backpack. Authorities have identified  the suspect as 28 year old Tara Thompson, a family member who lived with the 8 year old’s family until she was recently kicked out. The investigation into the incident began after the boy poked himself with the needle.
