Child Struck Leaving School Bus Near Toco

A 15 year old female Chisum ISD student has been flown to a trauma center with a serious leg injury after she was hit by a van after getting off her school bus on Hwy 82 near Toco. The driver of the bus says the van tried to pass the bus on the shoulder while it was stopped and hit the girl. State troopers arrested the driver of the van, Marlon Coleman on unrelated outstanding warrants. More charges involving the accident are pending.
