Martin, principal trumpet of the All State Band.
Chisum Senior Evan Martin performed with the ATSSB All State Band last week. Evan
was selected to the prestigious ensemble through a rigorous audition process involving
thousands of students from across Texas. Upon arrival in San Antonio, Evan auditioned
again for chair placement where he was chosen first chair in the Trumpet section. He
was a featured soloist on 2 selections on the concert Saturday, February 12, at the Lila
Cockrell Theatre in San Antonio.
