Choctaw County Man Arrested for Beating Mother

A 47-year-old man from Speer is behind bars in Choctaw County for allegedly beating his mother. Bobby Joe Lane Jr. was on the run all Sunday afternoon until he was found hiding in a travel trailer. Sheriff Terry Park says Lane hit his mother in the nose after she yelled at him.
