A Choctaw County man accused of attacking a woman last month is in custody. Choctaw County Deputies and Canadian County authorities arrested Aaron James Beal, of Soper. He’s accused of picking up a female hitchhiker in Canadian County in September and then shooting her when she refused his advances. The woman escaped from Beal.
