Choctaw Nation Opens New $6.5 Million Durant Justice Center

The Choctaw Nation officially opened its new $6.5-million Justice Center in Durant Thursday morning. The facility will house the Choctaw Nation’s court systems and can handle civil and criminal trials. Nation officials expect to build more courthouses in surrounding counties in the future.
