Christmas Shopping Starting In October Because of Coronavirus

Retailers are kicking off the holiday season earlier than ever this year in hopes of avoiding big in-store crowds and shipping bottlenecks in November and December. Many major retailers across the country usually have their most significant sales Black Friday over the Thanksgiving weekend. Many now say big sales will begin in October.
