Church Hero To Receive Texas Medal Of Courage

Governor Gregg Abbott will present the Medal of Courage today to 71-year-old Jack Wilson, the man who stopped the man who pulled out a shotgun and started shooting at West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement. The gunman fatally shot Wilson’s fellow security team member, Richard White, and long-time church deacon, Tony Wallace before he was killed by Wilson.
