City Of Sulphur Springs Awarded Senior Citizens Center Grant

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Governing Board has officially approved a $2.42 million grant for the City of Sulphur Springs to construct a new Senior Citizens Center. The city will advertise for bids later this spring for the project, including a commercial kitchen, a large multi-purpose room, three small activity rooms, and office and storage facilities. It will be in the 300-block of Oak Avenue on the site of a former nursing home.
