City Removes Texas Ranger Statue At Dallas Love Field Over Racism Concerns

A statue of legendary Texas Ranger Captain Jay Banks is no longer in the lobby at Dallas Love Field. Dallas City officials decided to move it after reading excerpts of Doug Swanson’s new book “Cult of Glory,” which says the law enforcement agency has a checkered history. The statue has been at Love Field since 1963. Now it goes into storage until the City of Dallas decides what to do with it.
