Clarksville City Secretary Pennye Hobbs Arrested for Forgery

Clarksville Mayor Anne Rushing has confirmed  that City Secretary Pennye Hobbs was arrested at city hall by Texas Rangers and booked into the Franklin County jail for forgery. The city council will meet today to decide the fate of her employment with the city. Hobbs has been secretary since 2004. The city has changed all the locks to city hall and secured all documents and records.
