Closing Of Railroad Crossing In Naples

FM 161 Railroad Crossing in Naples is closing Sunday (Mar 20) until repairs are completed. The detour for traffic is SH 77 overpass.

ATLANTA — Motorists who normally travel FM 161 in Naples will need to find an alternate route on Sunday (Mar 20). Union Pacific Railroad will close the highway to through-traffic on this date to make repairs to the railroad crossing.

Traffic will officially be detoured on a signed route onto US 67, SH 77 and SH 338. Portable message boards will be placed near the railroad crossing beforehand to warn motorists of the scheduled road closure. The construction schedule and road closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
