Collin County Capital Murder Trial Starts

The Collin County capital murder trial is underway for the man accused of shooting and killing his roommate and a Richardson Police Officer. Prosecutors say Brandon McCall killed his roommate, Rene Gamez, II, and then Officer David Sherrard, who responded to the call shots fired. Officers on the scene described the situation as an ambush.
