Collin County Inmate Mistakenly Released

A Collin County prisoner casually walked away from the county jail Wednesday afternoon. Jason Earl Davis, 40, was listed as a non-violent prisoner who had been arrested on drug charges. He reportedly walked in front of a detention officer, got in line with people who were being released on bond and then walked out. Davis is believed to be driving a Chevy Impala with Texas tags HYT-0309
