Commerce Man Reaches Plea Bargain In Hopkins County

A Commerce man has entered into a plea bargain with the Hopkins County’s DA office and pleaded guilty to felony drug charges. Larry Wayne Simpson, 46, admitted to possession of more than four but less than 200 grams of a Penalty Group I controlled substance and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Simpson had been arrested by Cumby Police last July.
