Commerce PD To Host Benefit Fun Run

The Explore the Blue 5k / 1 mile fun run is a fundraiser for our Commerce
Police Department Explorer Program which allows teens from the ages of 14 to
21 to explore a career in Law Enforcement and leadership. If your listeners
would like to help but cannot attend, they can go to www.exploretheblue.org
and click on the 5k fun run tag to donate.  That is the same place to go to
register for the race or to purchase a t-shirt to support the program.  The
5k will be held on October 8th and the race starts at 8am.  The race will
start in the 1900 block of Alamo Street in front of the City of Commerce
