Comptroller’s Office Distributes $783 Million

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he would send cities, counties, transit systems, and special purpose taxing districts $783.2 million in local sales tax allocations for January, 2.6 percent more than in January 2020. Texas bases the portions on sales made in November by businesses that report tax monthly.
