Contractor Convicted In Hopkins County

A Hopkins County jury has convicted 38 year old Chad Cappiello on 2 counts of felony theft of more than $1500 but less than $20,000. Cappiello will be sentenced by Judge Eddie Northcutt The range of punishment for this offense is up to two years in state jail, which is typically served day-for-day. He is also eligible for up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $10,000. Cappiello still faces felony theft charges in Jasper and Gatesville and is already on felony probation in Temple. Cappiello,  a home improvement contractor who also used the name Russell was released on $10,000 bond pending his sentencing on May 24. .
