Last Thursday, we reported an accident that occurred Wednesday at 2:00 pm. We reported an 18-wheeler had left US 271 and was on its side. That crash killed Charles Wright, 54, of Cookville, pronounced at the scene by JP Irma Dunn. The Kenworth was southbound and left the road hitting several trees for unknown reasons.
