Cornyn “Open” To Renaming Military Posts

After initially resisting the idea of renaming military bases named after confederate leaders, U.S. Senator John Cornyn now says he is far more open to the idea. Cornyn announced that he supported a Senate Defense Bill that will establish a commission to look into renaming Fort Hood and other military bases named for Confederate military leaders.
