Coronavirus Doctors Want Protection From Lawsuits

The Texas Medical Association wants the Governor to restrict lawsuits against doctors who are putting their health on the lines due to COVID-19.  It would extend liability relief that already exists for physicians that volunteer in emergencies. The standard of care for a lawsuit would be reckless conduct or intentional wanton or willful misconduct.
