Coronavirus Doesn’t Slow Human Trafficking From Mexico

Fears of the coronavirus are not stopping the immigrant smugglers at the Texas border. In Laredo Assistant chief patrol agent Casey Adams says the number of busts involving big rigs filled with migrants is up to 50-percent compared to one year ago.

They recently caught an 18-wheeler headed from Laredo to San Antonio, filled with more than two-dozen migrants. They were all packed inside, and none of them were wearing masks.
