Couple Jailed In Hopkins County On Felony Drug Charges

A routine traffic stop by a state trooper on I-30 near Cumby resulted in the arrest of a Northeast Texas couple on felony drug charges. The trooper smelled marijuana, and a subsequent search resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, synthetic cannabinoids known as spice, and drug paraphernalia. They arrested Kaylee Leann Payne of New Boston and Kody Allen Boner of Texarkana on multiple charges. Payne’s mugshot was not available.
