Court Proceedings In Hopkins County

All Non-essential proceedings in Hopkins County JP Courts scheduled before May 1 have been postponed. The cases have been reset for after that date to protect the community and limit potential exposure to COVID-19.

For Eight District Court, all non-essential proceedings are being rescheduled as needed. The court will postpone until April or May dockets in the Court for defendants who are out on bond. Access to necessary court proceedings is restricted to essential personnel.

Hopkins County Judge Robert Newsom said meetings, such as commissioners court and work sessions, will continue on schedule at this time.
